The Federal Goverment has increased it terrorism allegation charge against, Nnamdi Kanu the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra,(IPOB) on Monday.
This comes barley less than 24 hours when Kanu will be arraign in court for hearing of the earlier seven count charge preferred against him.
Nnamdi Kanu’s terrorism count charge has been increased to 15-count amended charge marked FHC/ABJ/CR/383/2015, and signed by the Director of Public Prosecution, DPP, M. B. Abubakar.
The court had on December 2, fixed Tuesday to hear some pending applications, including the one Kanu filed to be discharged and acquitted.
South East Governors had earlier met with the President at the presidential Villa in Abuja seeking the release of Kanu who have been detained for some months now.
However, President Buhari insisted that his administration has never override the Judicial process of the Nation so on that ground Kanu should be allow to prove himself not guilty in court.
The talks of Nnamdi Kanu has created lots of tension in the Biafran supported states where sit-at-home orders has been given by the groups hierarchy.
