Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, has officially announced Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed as his running partner for the 2023 elections.
The event took place on Friday morning in Abuja, and it was the unveiling.
Baba-Ahmed was praised by Obi as being exceptionally qualified to contribute his experience in the private sector as well as his academic accomplishments to the effort to free Nigeria from the crude politics of ethnicity.
Today, Obi may announce that Datti Baba-Ahmed will be his running mate.
In addition, Obi stated that the party will base its manifesto, which will be released in the following days, on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Baba-Ahmed is the current proprietor of Baze University, which is located in Abuja. Previously, he served in the National Assembly as a Senator representing Kaduna North.
