A senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Femi Falana has charged the Nigerian youth to participate more in politics stating that youths “have a role to play” for a better Nigeria.
He said this at the 2021 “Felabration” Symposium held at Ikeja, Lagos on Monday.
While speaking at the state of the nation Falana said: “Nigerian youths need to get engaged politically, they have roles to play in the struggle for a new Nigeria.”
“Felabration” is an annual music festival often celebrated in remembrance of Fela Anikulapo Kuti, a popular Nigerian musician back in the days.
Fela, is known for advocating for a better Nigeria through his Afrobeat style of music.
This year’s theme “Viva Nigeria” was picked from one of Fela’s song titled ” Viva Africa”, which he talked about importance of unity in Africa.
