Ralf Rangnick Close On Manchester United Deal

Manchester United have reportedly reached an agreement to make Ralf Rangnick an interim manager  till the end of the season.
According to reports Rangnick will take over for six months before taking up a consultancy position at Old Trafford.
The 63-year-old is head of sports and development at Lokomotiv Moscow, but United are reportedly doing all it takes to lure him to England with an agreement to take up a consultancy role.
Caretaker Micheal Carrick is expected to still be in charge of United when they face a tough test with league leaders Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge.
United have been in search of a new manager since the sacking of Ole Gunner Solskjaer who oversee some devastating results with the Red Devils in recent weeks.
The Red Devils have now chosen Rangnick who is regarded as the “Godfather of German football” whose style of play has influenced coaches like Thomas Tuchel, Jurgen Klopp and others.
The German was once a technical  director at RB Leipzig and Salzburg.
Former Barcelona head coach Ernesto Valverde and former Lyon head coach Rudi Garcia had also been considered for the interim role as United looks to light themselves from their dark path on the pitch.
