Premier League Under Pressure To Postpone League

More club’s in the English Premier league have now been hit by the new wave of the Covid-19 outbreak with the league now under threat of postponement.
Not less than four Managers  have called for the Premier league to be on hold pending the recovery of their team players.
Brentford become the latest club to suffer a Covid-19 outbreak with Boss Thomas Frank calling for all league game to be postponed.
The newly promoted club recorded 13 positive cases among players and club staff which has caused a cancellation of their fixture with Manchester United.
Also, Tottenham boss Antonio Conte is among managers calling for the league to be postponed.
Tottenham Hotspur have over 7 teams players who have tested positive for Covid and there is scare it could be more.
On Wednesday, Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers expressed his “disappointment” at the Premier League’s refusal to postpone his side’s match with Tottenham on Thursday as the club deal with its own share of the Covid-19 outbreak.
Rodgers said that Leicester will be without nine players due to a combination of coronavirus cases and injuries for the visit of Spurs, who are returning to action after missing their last two games due to a Covid outbreak of their own.
It’s yet to be known if the Premier league will agree to postpone all fixtures as the board makes its decisions to postpone games on a case-by-case basis, taking into account medical advice and determining whether the club making a request has managed to bring an outbreak of Covid-19 under control, according to daily mail.
