Only Nigeria Record Nine Point In 2021 AFCON Group Game

Nigeria is the only team to record maximum nine points in the ongoing 2021 African Cup of Nations after the Super Eagles defeated Guniea Bissau 2:0 in the final game of group D.
Sadiq was on target in the 56th minute as Austine Eguavon men took the lead before Troost-Ekong doubled it after Simon Moses super strike hit the woodwork.
Super Eagles began the tournament with a superb performance holding down Egypt after Kelechi Ihenacho scored the only goal of the game.
Going further, Nigeria showed class against Sudan on match day two with a tremendous 3:1 win.
Samuel Chukwueze scored in the very three minute of the game before Taiwo Awoniyi doubled the lead  some seconds into halftime.
Sensational Moses Simon added the third to put smiles on millions of Nigerians faces.
Nigeria has scored six goals and conceded one so far in this tournament.
A total of 48 goals have been scored in the tournament so far of which only 12 goals was recorded in the first opening games of the competition. As at match day two 29 goals have been were scored.
Speaking about teams in the  next round, Cameroon and Burkina Faso emerged from group A, Senegal and Guinea scaled through in group B.
Morroco and Gabon came out of group C while Nigeria and Egypt expectedly survived group D.
Prolific Cameroon’s captain vincent Aboubakar tops highest goal chart with five goals  followed closely by his teammate Karl Toko Ekambi who is on two goals as well as  Malawi’s Gabadinho Mhango.
