Faisal Maina has been sentenced to 14years imprisonment for money laundering charges.
Faisal who is the son of former chairman of the now-defunct Pension Reformed Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina, was sentenced to jail by Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday.
He was sentenced following a suit filed against him by the Federal government in which he had jumped bail and refused to attend trial since November 24, 2020.
He was also ordered to return the sum of N58.1m to the Federal Government.
In addition he was sentenced for 5years each on two other count charges which according to the court will run concurrently.
So the court ordered that Faisal be arrested anywhere he is found the country to face his jail term.
