Lagos Govt Asks Ojodu Grammar School Students To Stay At Home Till January

The Lagos State Goverment has instructed the Students of the Babs Fafuna Millennium Senior Grammer School, Ojodu, Berger  to remain in their houses until January 2022.
The Goverment declared in a Statement through the Assistant Director of Public Affairs at the State Ministry of Education, Ganiu Lawal, on Wednesday.
The instruction is coming in view of the accident which claimed the lifes of at least 17 Grammer School Children on Tuesday while the Students were on their way home from School.
Lagos State, Governor Babjide Sanwo-Olu in the statement sympathized with parents who lost their children in the tragic accident.
Lawal said the Governor understands that it is a difficult time for the students and parents while praying that the Lord will comfort them.
He added that the best medical attention will be given to others Students who sustained varing degrees of injuries.
The accident has caused different chaos around the area.
On Tuesday, after the accident angry youths and some  commuters joined hand to attack the office of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ojodu damaging some vehicles in the process.
The compound also houses the offices of the Vehicle Inspection Officers (VIO) and Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) in the area.
However, things has somehow be put under control by Police and normalcy gradually returning to the area.
