Gunmen have reportedly Kidnapped yet to be identified number of people as Commissioner for Environment in Kogi State, Adewale Omofaiye escaped being Kidnapped.
The Commissioner was said to have escaped with gun shots after the suspected Kidnappers opened fire on the his Car according to reports.
According to some sources, the Commissioner was ambush and shot at while others were whisked away from the scene.
The Commissioner was attacked on Sunday evening between Ikoyi and Iyara in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State.
According to reports He was on his way to Lokoja, before the suspected Kidnappers shot at his car and was said to have escaped with gunshot on the leg.
Close sources revealed that the Commissioner is alive and healthy but other yet to be identified numbers of people have been kidnapped to a nearby bush.
