Jetty Fire Outbreak Kills 5 In Rivers State

Not less than five persons have been confirmed dead in a fire outbreak that occurred at the Nembe Jetty in Rivers State yesterday.
The Jetty which is located at Port Harcourt caught fire leaving some dead and others getting burnt by the inferno.
According to eyewitnesses the fire broke out possibly due to some pretroleum smugglers who hide their products in the wooden boat so as to escape arrest from police.
The wooden boat is used to convey passengers and goods from one place to another.
Police Public Relations Officer, Nnamdi Omoni has also confirmed the fire outbreak which happened in the early hours of Monday.
