On Monday, sources within the club announced that Christophe Galtier has been hired for a two-year stint as the head coach of the French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.
The Argentine Mauricio Pochettino has been replaced by Frenchman Gérard Galtier, who was in charge of the club’s rivals in Ligue 1 during the previous campaign.
On Monday, the 55-year-old Galtier was seen making his way to the Parisians’ offices located just outside of the capital city of France. A news conference is set to take place at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. (1200 GMT).
