Chris Wood Undergoes Medicals In Newcastle, Chelsea Target Lucas Digne To Aston Villa.

Newcastle United are proving that they mean business with the Magpies already completing two transfer already while indicating more will be signed before the  transfer window closes.
The latest signing for Eddie Howe is Burnley striker Chris Wood who is currently undergoing medicals at Newcastle after a £25m personal terms agreement.
However, the deal is expected to be completed before Thursday since the Striker release clause is met by the Magpies.
Chris Wood is coming with hopes he would fill in the shoes of Callum Wilson who has been said to be out for at least two months.
Wood has scored three goals for Burnely this season and with his experience of the Premier league he’s to contribute to save Newcastle from relegation.
Kieran Trippier became the first signing made by the club since the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund’s takeover, joining in a £12million deal from Atletico Madrid. With inclusion of Chris Wood Newcastle looks to have some options going into weekend league games against Watford.
 According to emerging reports Newcastle is close to reaching an agreement to land Reims prolific striker Hugo Ekitike.
Meanwhile, days after Aston Villa announced the arrival of Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona, the Villans is reported to have agreed a deal worth £25m with Everton for Lucas Digne who is a target for Chelsea, West Ham and other Premier league clubs.
Everton caoch Rafeal Benitez confirmed earlier that the the defender had told the club he wanted to leave despite still having a three-and-a-half years remaining on his  contract.
For other transfer, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal is optimistic Fiorentina Striker Dusan Vlahovic will be at the Emirates Stadium in the coming days but no concrete agreement has been made yet.
Vlahovic has been impressive for the Seria A side netting 18 goals in 22 games so far this season.
With futures of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah in shadow, The Serbian international is the gunners option in view of their desperate interest in the player.
