Central African Republic (CAR) also known as the The Wild Beasts devoured The Super Eagles with a 1:0 win to earn four point in group C of the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers on Thursday.
The Nigerian fans were told to keep silent by Karl Namngandaa when he struck into the Super Eagles goalpost late in the game at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos.
The Wild beast came looking hungry and they fought till the last sound of the Referee Whistle.
They were composed defensively so much that even the Italian Seria A player for the month of September Victor Osimhen could not break through.
Osimhen had a chance to open scoring for the Super Eagles in the 28th minute but he shot wide off target.
However, relentless CAR scored a goal after the break but it was ruled off for a foul.
Kelechi Ihenacho was took off for Taiwo Awoniyi after he was injured.
Osimhen came close again in the 52nd minute hitting the wood work after a sublime pass from Chidera Ejuke.
On October 10, the Super Eagles will be visitors to CAR .
