On Wednesday, Boeing revealed a decrease in profits for the second quarter due to the continuing halt to the delivery of the 787. These results did not meet the expectations of industry analysts.

The global leader in aviation reported a decrease in quarterly earnings of 67 per cent, to $193 million, while reporting a decrease in revenues of 1.9 per cent, to $16.7 billion.

The business announced that it was collaborating with US air safety inspectors on “final actions” to begin the delivery of 787 aircraft. Over the past year and a half, the stoppage has been a drag on Boeing’s overall financial performance.
