Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), was unsuccessful in his attempt to restore independence.
Kanu’s appeal for bail was denied by Justice Binta Nyako of the Abuja Federal High Court.
The leader of IPOB asked the court to vacate the prior ruling cancelling his bail.
Justice Binta Nyako concluded on Tuesday that Kanu did not present sufficient justifications for the court to vacate its order.
As a result, she dismissed the application as a misuse of the judicial system.
