The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) nominee for Osun governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has a commanding lead in the race.
Adeleke is leading incumbent governor Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) by more than 10,000 votes, according to results released on the INEC portal.
Adeleke currently has 67,892 votes to Oyetola’s 56,915 votes, making her the front-runner in this race so far..
The counting continues.
Elections were held in 3,763 polling places with a total of 1,955,657 registered voters.
