No less than five persons have been killed following a gas explosion that took place in Mushin Local Government Lagos State.
The explosion occurred at the popular Ladipo Market on Tuesday at Ojekunle Street.
According to an eyewitness, the gas explode in the area when the gas sellers in the area were trying to sell to a customer.
As at the time of filing this report, the fire erupted from the gas explosion has been put off while men of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), were already present at the scene trying to rescue some others injured.
A popular woman in the area known as Iya Funmi was also badly injured and was rescued by the Lagos State rescue team present.
