President Muhammadu Buhari has promised that some important projects under the Presidential Infrastructure Development Fund (PIDF) of his administration will be completed before the end of his tenure.
The president said that the 11.9km second Niger Bridge, and 120km Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and others will be completed within his Goverment.
He made the promise at a two-day Mid-Term Ministerial Performance Review Retreat organized to checkmate the success and achievement of the nine key priorities of his Administration.
‘‘The PIDF projects are also advancing remarkably. These include the 11.9km Second Niger Bridge, 120 km Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, 375 km Abuja – Kaduna – Zaria – Kano Expressway and the East West Road. Most of these projects are expected to be completed within this 2nd term of our Administration,’’ The president said.
Buhari also said much about other key projects which Which he assured their completion will be within 2nd term of his administration.
On transportation, the president said that his administration is growing the quality of roads.
‘‘On transportation, we are growing the stock and quality of our road, rail, air and water transport infrastructure. He said.
