In order to beat the deadline set by the Independent National Electoral Commission on Friday, the Labour Party of Nigeria has announced that Doyin Okupe will serve as Peter Obi‘s running partner. However, this appointment is really a placeholder (INEC).
This indicates that Okupe is now serving as a temporary replacement for the position while the party completes the selection of Obi’s running companion.
