Manchester United came from a two goal down to defeat Atlanta 3:2 with Ronaldo grabbing the winner for the Red Devils on match day three of the UEFA champions league on Wednesday.
Two early goals from Atlanta almost spoiled the night for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer thanks to Rashford, Maguire and Cristiano Ronaldo for winning the war brought by the Italian side.
United now has 6point out of three games placing them top of group F with Villarreal and Atlanta both on third and fourth with four points each.
Meanwhile, Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea was splendid on the night as they humiliate Malfo FC 4:0 to earn 6point in group H.
Jorginho scored twice from the spot kick with Christensen and Kai Harvertz all on point to give the blues a boost to the road of possibly defending the Champions league throphy.
Chelsea bounced back from 1:0 loss to Juventus in the second match of the competition even as the old ladies defeat Zenit Petersburg to stay top of group H with 9points.
Going further, fantastic Bayern Munich got four goals past Benfica away from home to maintain their unbeaten run in the competition. with Leroy Sane getting a brace as well as Everton and Robert Lewandowski netting one each for the Bavarians.
Similarly, Villarreal thrash Young boys 4:1 with Nigerian Samuel Chukwueze sealing the fourth goals late in the 90 minute.
