Sunday, Jos Electricity Distribution Plc informed its consumers via its Facebook page of an interruption in Electricity service. Friday Elijah, head of corporate communication, stated, "The Management of Jos Electricity Distribution Company Plc desires to inform the general public that the current outage is the consequence of a system failure." He continued, "We hope to restore supply as soon as supply is restored." The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company Plc stated, "EEDC desires to alert her respected customers of a system failure that happened at 6:49 p.m. today, June 12th, 2022."
