The presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has announced Senator Kashim Shettima, a former governor of Borno State, to be his running mate for the general election in 2023.
On Sunday, while Tinubu was in Daura, Katsina State, to pay a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari, he took some time to talk with the local press and make this information public.
On Saturday, the Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje, shared the news that Tinubu had agreed to run on a ticket with another Muslim candidate.
