No challenge to Atiku Abubakar’s hopes of becoming Nigeria’s president in 2023 comes from Peter Obi, who is running for the Labour Party’s presidential nomination, he claims.
According to him, Tinubu is still one of his closest friends, notwithstanding their differences in ideology on the political front of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
During an interview with Arise TV that aired on Friday morning, Atiku said this.
Neither the state governments of the Labour Party nor the members of the National Assembly are under the control of the Labour Party. Peter Obi is not a danger to anyone. It was reported on social media that the campaign has a million supporters in Osun. In contrast, “Atiku indicated that 90% of voters do not use social media to cast their votes,” he said.
The fact that he remains friends with Tinubu does not preclude the two of them from having political disagreements.
