Boris Johnson claimed that the first 50 refugees were informed they would be deported to Rwanda in two weeks.

Human rights organizations have slammed the policy, as have Tory backbenchers, former Prime Minister Theresa May, and the Archbishop of Canterbury.

As it prepares to transfer migrants to the east African country in a fortnight, the administration has warned that it expects a flood of legal claims. Mr Johnson told the Daily Mail that the migrants had already been issued with “notices of intent,” signaling the start of the process.

“There will be a lot of legal pushback from the types of businesses that have been receiving taxpayers’ money for a long time to mount these sorts of challenges and to obstruct the will of the people, the will of parliament,” Mr Johnson said.

“We’re prepared for that.” We’ll dig in for the struggle and make it work. We have a large flowchart of things we need to do to cope with the leftie attorneys.”
