Residents Return Home After Running Away In Ondo Community

Residents of the Okeluse Community in Ondo State have begun to gradually return to their homes after running from the community on Sunday following an attack by some gunmen who reportedly killed a dealer and a fuel attendant.
According to a report about a five-man gang with strong arms on Sunday stormed the community in the Ose Local Government Area of the state on motorcycles around 9 pm killing a dealer known as Oladimeji Aborowa, while the said fuel attendant died in the hospital after sustaining a gunshot.
This was also confirmed by the State Police command spokesperson Funmilayo Odunlami who said that the gunmen were suspected to have come to kidnap the dealer.
The spokesperson however said that the police and some vigilante group has since began a search in the nearby bushes for the criminals
Meanwhile, the Commander of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, code-named “Amotekun”, Adetunji Adeleye, noted that the killers were robbers and that his team was able to repel the attack.
A resident who fled narrated ” Around 9pm the guys(gunmen) rode on motorcycles, they were very fast before we know what was happening they started shooting then everyone started running into the bush for safety. It was later in the morning we knew that they killed one dealer and one fuel attendant”
