Manchester City Smashed Leeds as Gerrard’s Aston Villa came out stronger

Manchester City has taken another bold step to winning the Premier league after extending  top of table lead with a 7:0 Victory over Leeds United on Tuesday night.
Pep Guardiola’s men boasted of  three goals before halftime after Phil Foden gave Manchester City an early lead which Stuart Dallas unable to clear before Jack Grealish doubled the lead with a header from Riyad Mahrez’s cross in the 13th minute. Kevin De Bruyne sealed the third at halftime as the Citizens cruise at  top of the table.
De Bruyne got his second after Mahrez scored just four minutes into the second half as John Stones and Nathan Ake also registered themselves on the score sheet.
Man City are now four points clear of Liverpool who are second with 37 points.
City will now hope rivals drops points in their upcoming fixtures.
On Saturday, Guardiola’s side will look forward to a posible three points against Newcastle at the St James Park.
Meanwhile, Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa got all three points as the Villans smash buttom Norwich 2:0 at the  Carrow Road Stadium.
Jacob Ramsey chipped in beautifully to put the Visitors in front before Ollie Watkins cemented the win with a late 87th minute goal.
The win sends Aston Villa to 9th place with 22 points through 17 games.
Elsewhere, in Germany, Bayern Munich extend Bundesliga lead to 9 points after humilating Stuttgart 5:0 away from home.
Robert Lewandowski scored twice while Serge Gnabry got an hat-trick to ensure the Bavarians show their supremacy.
Bayern now cruise with fourty points on the Bundesliga table through 16 games.
