Francesco Bagnaia of Italy took first place in the British MotoGP on Sunday, while the leader of the championship, Fabio Quartararo, finished eighth.

Bagnaia, who rides for Ducati and is currently third in the world championship standings, won his second consecutive Grand Prix after the Dutch MotoGP.

As pole sitter Johann Zarco wrecked on the fifth lap while leading, the Spanish rider Maverick Vinales of Aprilia finished in second place, and Australian rider Jack Miller of Ducati finished in third place.
