Arsenal Charged By The English Football Association

Arsenal have been charged by the Football Association (FA) for misconduct and failing to control their players during their Premier League 2:1 defeat to Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
Mikel Arteta’s side was charged in relation to Gabriel’s Red card he picked up after being booked the second time in the match for a deserved foul.
The Brazilian received his first yellow card of the match in the 59th minute which VAR reviewed to award Manchester City a controversial penalty when Granit Xhaka somehow pulled down Bernado Silva in the box.
Not quite long Gabriel was shown a red card by refree Stuart Attwell, which angered the Arsenal players
The FA in a statement said: ‘Arsenal FC has been charged with a breach of FA Rule E20.1 following its Premier League game against Manchester City FC on Saturday.
“It is alleged that Arsenal FC failed to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion during the 59th minute and the club has until Friday to respond’
The Gunners have until January 7th to respond to the charge.
Meanwhile, a Former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg in an interview claimed that referee Stuart Attwell got two big decisions wrong during the match.
Arsenal played with plenty of purpose in the first half with Bukayo Saka striking home to crown the gunners effort. Before Riyad Mahrez equalized from the penalty spot for City and late in the game Rodri strike from a close range to give Pep Guardiola’s side the winner.
