Ac Milan Pushed Down, While Napoli Goes Top

AC Milan blew away another chance to go top of the Italian Seria A after suffering a back-to-back defeat with the latest coming from Sassuolo on Sunday.
The Rossoneri lost 3:1 to 13th place Sassuolo despite scoring first through Romagnoli in the 21st minute.
The visitors replied almost immediately 3minute late with Scammaca chipping home Raspadori assist. Kjaer scored their own goal to give the visitors the lead and be comfortable going into the break.
AC Milan’s goal scorer Romagnoli was sent out in the 77th minute, not before Sassuolo had added the third through Berardi.
Last weekend Milan lost 4:3 to Fiorentina keeping them on 32points falling from the top of the table.
It’s Osimhen’s Napoli who now cruise to the top of the league with 35points and 3points above second spot AC Milan after a 4:0 victory over Lazio.
Zielinski opened the scoring before Mertens went on to bag a brace before Ruiz added the fourth late in the game.
Meanwhile, Tammy Abraham netted the only goal to ensure Jose Mourinho’s side defeat Torino 1:0 as Roma try to close the gap with the top four teams.
Roma is 5th with 25points after 14 games even as they will need to go past Bologna in their next game on Wednesday.
However, things went as planned for Bologna after snatching a 1:0 win over Spezia away from home.
Arnautovic scored from the spot-kick late in the 83rd minute to move 9th on the Seria table with 21points.
