Bola Tinubu, All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and presidential candidate, has stated that he has a very good chance of obtaining the party’s presidential ticket.
Tinubu made the announcement immediately after meeting with party delegates in Jalingo on Sunday.
He said his political background gave him a good chance of securing the ticket.
“My odds of winning the ticket are quite great, and I am really confident,” he says. “I am certain that I can and will win.”
In response to the party’s offer of a consensus solution, Tinubu stated that he favored a democratic approach to choose who would be the APC flagbearer.
“I want democracy, and I’m voting for democracy,” he declared.
